. . do U always feel quakes? I think I am very less sensitive.
Black and White
...don't you sleep in a futon Lost? So there shldn't be quakes unless you jumped right out of it, got entangled in the beddings, accidentally knocked off all the heavy books/journal articles on your night stand and then falling flat on the tatami floor...but that would be more than a 6.6., (I'm thinking of all the books here)....
photo
. . that's lot of books.

of course, she's a bookworm...
Genetic
Oh am I a bookworm, but no futon for me- at first yes, but these days I"ve upgraded to a proper bed, my sumo geisha size is enough to cause quakes if I fall from bed ( I often like to rampage around Tokyo breathing fire and chomping on Tokyo tower in my spare time).
I was way too far away to feel this latest one, I merely saw it on the news. However, I think I"m pretty sensitive to these things as I've felt quite a few in Hokkaido which weren't that strong in Sapporo.... and actually every time I've been to Tokyo there's been an earthquake.

I will be in Tokyo in Sept (16-21) . . any chances that you are coming?
.. . casandra must be asleep by now.. wanted some words of advice about traveling to Venice.

You're safe- I"m no where near Tokyo then, I'll be just back from Hungary (via Osaka). However if you would like to experience a quake let me know, I could put in an appearance
We should have a little travel advice section - after all, we all travel or have lived in a variety of locations... are you going to Venice??? lucky you, I"ve never managed to get to Italy yet.
fortune
yeah, going to Venice in October but I am lost right now trying to make a good route.

there will be something for everyone. I was thinking of flying to another country and taking a train to Venice. Paris is too far. So, Zurich or Vienna. I should may be ask Hobglobin. I will have tight schedule when I go but when I am coming back, I can take my time. I need travel advice. There should be a forum somewhere . . .
