Words, Words, Words - it's only words (Jul/21/2009 )
mind control
never read any of his fairy tales, will check them out.......no Nobel too for Astrid Lindgren.....
never mind....
..but Lagerlöf get it, children's book authors almost never get it I guess...
mind your manners
but if we stick to Nobel's stipulation for the literature prize then it shld be for writers who have shown a great deal of idealism in their works...those are the children's book authors....start 'em young......
Mind your head!
then Rowling is the next? OMG
mind over matter
:lol...why not?
gray matter
J.K. Rowling has achieved what very few authors for kids have done in the past, it was actually nice to see people reading in the bus or the metro, either kids or adults, and guess what they were reading... You might even call it trendy if you want, only time will let us know if her H.P. Books will make it through the years to come.
brain
it would be much much more than Obama's award surprising and premature...perhaps she will finally write a really good and profound (aka "serious") book...and not only some best-sellers
- and pinky
who knows?
stinky
....I can already imagine her acceptance speech:
In behalf of all the muggles and the wizards and the witches..I accept this prestigious award....it was said that when William Faulkner received his, he was drunk but he delivered one of the best acceptance speeches ever....
foul-smelling
or to be more honest, she could tell that Tolkien is too dead and Pratchett too decent, therefore only she herself is left. And that all should forget the suspicion of plagiarism....
