Words, Words, Words - it's only words (Jul/21/2009 )
together forever
hey guys...hi BB-san, Lost-san...I also watched the mens luge finals- Germany won silver and gold...and the gold winner- Loch is only 20 years old...my gosh.....
Happily ever after
I reckon its a sport you can only do when you're young and reckless. Well done Germany! I think our solo Brit entrant got his personal best and don't know what happened to the J- guy.
Do you get to watch the olympics in the lab? or is it carefully recorded for later viewing?
z end
... the Italian multiple olympic (defending) medalist, Zoeggeler is 36 years old and he got bronze this time...but the two germans are quite young...
we get to watch them real time at night and the rest just a recap or replay from all channels- english and some french...mens downhill would start tomorrow hopefully...are you getting a lot of coverage?
Mend
We are- but it seems to repeat alot and seems to be only in the events the J are competing in, I saw the womens moguls 3 times yesterday complete with crying J women (she just missed out on a bronze). It was fun watching the speed skating relay semi-final last night though, it looked really fun.
The press is all grumpy about one of the snowboarders, he was banned from the entry ceremony cause he was scruffily dressed at the airport!
broken heart
woohoo...Lost-san...our first gold--in the mens moguls- Alexandre Bilodeau...we've never won a gold on home soil- yippee.......
the snowboarder was japanese or Brit...you need to declare your affiliations, Lost-san ...
rebound
WOO HOO! ya for Canada.
My affiliations are very complex, Brits, if they're competing. Japanese and Canadians (do I need a reason?) if not, or the underdogs (usually the Brits).
missed shot
...we won, we won, then......you shld celebrate with us, Lost-san and Alexandre is an amazing athlete- (young and looks pretty hot too
) he's got a brother who has cerebral palsy who's been his inspiration all this time....you can't imagine all the pressure all our athletes are having right now- with the country expecting them to deliver....
shot put
I'm celebrating with you!
The pressure must be crazy, its bad enough here for the Japanese competitors- there's been so much build up for them (too much IMO).
Whats the next medal oppertunity for you guys?
javelin
yup, too much I agree...
we are "expecting" in the downhill and super G events- both men's and women's....and the UK?
thowing spears
Men's curling, 2 women bobsleigh and skeleton? maybe some speed skating- though I think thats way too much to hope for!
