Ah, Its been so long since I"ve seen any bollywood, I have no idea of whats popular and who's popular.
gun.
there are some really, really nice must-watch bollywood movies. Wish I could recommend you some. I am not good at remmebering the names. Let Div come. She might help me remember the names.
I tried watching curling on Friday eve. I could not guess what they were trying to do First, I was thinking they were cleaning up the place before the game starts; but found out, it was the game.

:lol:yep- thats curling for you. basically sliding the granite things into the bullseye or as close to, whilst knocking the other teams granite blocks out the way= curling.
I have such a pile of "must watch" films I'd need to not work for 6months to get through them- especially if they're bollywood (I know how long they go on for!)
weapon
when I watch Bollywood movies, I don't watch all the songs and dances. That saves enough time for second movie.

Hello Casu hime- I just saw, ah well there's always next time! I"m sure you'll get revenge
I saw the message of congrats, but it was too buried to bring it back again. I suspect that will be our only medal unless we can pull some spectacular games out of the curling and any other events we're still left in...
too slow..had to change the word

It went like any other weekend - sleeping till late, doing nothing the whole day, watching movies, and hanging out.
Watched 'The Lovely Bones', 'Spy Next Door', 'Born of Hope', and 'My Name is Khan'.
Lovely Bones is not that bad but not a movie I would recommend; there are better movies than this. 'Spy Next Door' is Jackie chan'd come-back movie and is not as good as his other movies were.
'Born of Hope' - the one I think I told you about - it's ok not to watch this. You won't miss anything. It's a good attempt but couldhave been better.
'My Name is Khan' is a hindi movie that my friend called me to watch together. I read in BBC that it was a big hit in UK. The story is about a Indian guy with Asperger's syndrome who had moved to US. He gets married to a beautiful girl and has a nice little family but things start going bad after 9/11 because of the kind of Islam-phobia they have portraied in the movie. Their child is killed and the family breaks up then he takes on a journey to meet the president of US to tell give him a message that all Muslim are not terrorist. The movie gives a good message but the story makes it look not so good in my opinion. There are far better Hindi movies to be watched before this and I have no clue why this is so popular. The plot as a whole is ridiculous.
shades of gold
oh yeah...but honestly, the better team won and the US goalie played extremely well and stopped a lot of shots...but yes, there will be a next time and hopefully the canucks will do better.....really a US domination of the Vancouver games eh? We just won another silver tonight in long track.....and the brits might still surprise you yet..
BB-san: a thousand cheers for the copy and paste function ....so you spent your weekend doing nothing and watching movies?...wow, I'd like to do that too....well, I cleaned my house at least...
