Tarzan
Summer is still a way off up here, especially today...though now the snows turned to rain.
Greystoke
...let's cheer up, Lost-san...cos before we know it......it's fall again....
backstroke
Lets not think of that yet!
You're right lets think positive- might encourage the sun and warmth back again
Soooooooo..... what else have you got growing, aside from the snow covered tulips?
back crawl
yup, think positive.......a year has four seasons....
and I've got the usual low maintenance perenials- hostas, daylillies, anthuriums ...I've herb pots in my kitchen too...
freestyle
Sounds nice- I'm going to try Peonies this year and salad vegs on my balcony
flip-turn
peonies are beautiful too....are you gonna grow cucumbers or radishes...one of those giant daikon?
flip flop
haven't thought about cucumbers...definately tomatoes again... I think I"ll just stick to the salad leaves- mizuna and what not... I tried brocolli last year without success...
sandals
have you tried the sweet 100 variety of cherry tomatoes? Those are pretty good and you can get about a thousand...so you grow the salad leaves in big planters or individual pots? I'd never tried broccoli...
and socks
I got some mini sweet yellow tomatoes last year, might get the same again I had a huge pile and they were really nice.
Yes, I have pots, brocolli doesn't do well in them
fashion faux pas
how about planting something new this year? I really want to try the pickling cucumbers but while researching about it...it seems that the plant needs a lot of manure for growing....can you imagine, Lost-san...after 40 to 50 days, the fruit will drop by it's own accord..onto the "enriched" soil......what do you think?
