bec of Celine Dion, I'd rate Titanic a 9+ and diCaprio's Gangs of New York, a 9.5+......am trying to avoid the decimals here now, sanjiun....

was titanic hit by an iceberg or a bugger who did not see the ice!!
saw the season 4 of 24.. its based on terrorism and counter terorism units... nice one... one episode is 40 minutes long.. tat makes it almost a day tat is teh name!!! so each minute accounted for!!! 8/10 (tats rounded off as the decimal was 8.0001224120112452!!!)
saw it in four days.. so cud not see any movies!!!
finally, I watched the new Twilight movie, New Moon......hmmmm...for plot and story line, a 4.999/9.999, special effects, quite dismal considering that the first one grossed a lot in the box office, a 3/9.999, for character development, a 6, I should say...but for the hot buffed looks, the six-packs of the shirtless guys- a 10/9.999 ...
reason for edit: changed my mind about the hot looks....
And "Capitalism: A Love Story" by Michael Moore, a 8/10 (too lazy to write many 9s ), a bit chaotic and superficial, but altogether not bad and quite funny. But it's a safe bet for such films...
Perhaps shall try something more light and easy:
"A walk to remember"...
good love story...
8.97/10.00

I read this book by Sparks but I haven't seen the movie so I don't know how faithful it was to the book.
I saw this Italian movie twice, recently in our cable channel Agata e la tempesta (Agata and the Storm)...also a love story but really quirky, very funny and lively, some poignant moments....worth seeing, imo....8.499/9.999

hmmm... real fake vampires don't sparkle.
i saw the first one on a plane (watched everything on the movie channel), and it was bland. i would not have paid to see that in a cinema. not seeing this one, unless it's free. however, aparently in the books (i have never read them) the next one has some *interesting* ideas which will be amusing to see on a big screen. something about cutting a vampire baby out of uterus with vampire teeth, just as an example of these *interesting* ideas. i may consider seeing that one for a laugh.
this is a serious question for those who have read and enjoyed the books and movies... why would a 108 year old vampire stay in high school? my nieces are tween and teens, and they luv edward, but they haven't given me an answer. seriously, if i was kept in the body of an 18 year old for eternity... i would not spend eternity in high school... regardless of how hot the boys were (which, in my school, they weren't... maybe i went to the wrong high school).
anyway, i got a copy of so notorious (VH1 series that was on a couple of years ago)... it's suprisingly good. perhaps a 7/10.

hey V....long time eh? I would definitely recommend it if it's free...it would've been a totally relaxing downtime in the cinema but for the sighing and mooning of all the girls (except me of course
