What about Cube? What other canadian films are out there? ;)

That was a good and unusual one...and low budget, if I remember right....but cube2 not that good...
and anyway not suitable for the sensitive mind of our Canadian RH ;)

...;)...you shld try to see the Arcand films, or Jutra's or Egoyan's....

Arcand, Jutra, Ergoyan??...I dont speak the language, sorry..... :D

"Paris Je T´ame" is really good (another for the list)!!! But the new one, "New York I love you" is not even close...

but they are subtitled in English...like Arcand's trilogy although I haven't seen the last one...I recently saw a French comedy- Tanguy....it was over the top but quite weirdly funny....

Old good movies from Billy Wilder that you must see!!!!:

-Sabrina
-The seven year itch
-The Apartment
-Some like it hot
-One, two, three

(These weeks I´m enjoying good old movies! I will tell you about them! )

Laure y Quillo, how can you watch 4 to 5 movies a week? It must be very expensive....considering you have to eat popcorn and drink soda too and probably a kg of chocolates...

PS.....ah ok.....tv and dvd- you've got one of those Lazy boys equipped with warming cushion and foot massager....:D

jajajajaja ;) actually I dont like popcorn  I am very healthy, i just eat apples and tomatoes ;)

The problem is that my german is not "the best german ever" (is a way to say it) , so I cannot go to the cinema here, ergo, I have to watch everything on my dvd or in my computer!!

BTW it is a pity I dont have one of those foot massager!

So Lau y Qui…you don’t speak the best German ever, eh? No worries, we’ve got our dearest resident German who can give you a few lessons for all your movie viewing and critiquing enjoyment…

@ Dr H, why don’t you start with a movie rating system in your purest and most elegant German:

5 stars: Really Extremely Super Extra Good
4 stars: Not Really Extremely but Still Really Good
3 stars: Sorta Kinda Perhaps Still Good
2 stars: Sorta Kinda Perhaps Already Sucky
1 star: What the heck were they thinking?
0 star: Give Me My Money Back or else…..

and this is just the start...and hopefully more to follow.....:P
