Now I am really looking forward to the new seasons of Mad Men and Dexter!

It’s a novel but a short one compared with PD James’ other works and it's really worth reading esp her protrayal of a dystopic England and a world that has lost its power to reproduce. The film was actually a very loose adaptation but it’s understandable why they had to include more action and graphic violence but overall it’s still pretty good- a new twist on the age-old theme of despair, hope and salvation.
@Sir LyQ: You might also wanna try watching Entre Les Murs (The Class), a semi-autobiographical film about a french teacher and his students from a rough Parisian neighborhood..it’s the usual clash of cultures, the insolent challenging of authority, the pedantry or (is it the pretentiousness) of the French language

It was shot documentary style, mostly in the classroom and actors were non-professionals who improvised extensively, acting was pretty convincing.....not as cheesy as Dangerous Minds nor Hilary Swank’s Freedom Writers where the charismatic dynamic mentor saves the seemingly irredeemable lot.... A new season of Dexter would be nice, I like that serial, but never saw Lost...
anyway Russian and Scandinavian films can be stressing (like some german films)....watched once "Stalker"by Tarkowski, over 2 hrs long...really a great great challenge...only some make it...I fall asleep during that film

Friends is awesome! Together with Seinfeld two of the shows I can watch every year!
