Good effect, exciting and worth the money for 2hours and 40 minutes. Perfect for a date.
Planning to watch that too. But not until I pass my viva (which will be end of this month and I am super duper NERVOUS!!!)

till then my rating for
Huo Yuan Jia (Fearless) 2/10 - Jet Li
If u ve not seen the movie.. don waste ur time seeing it too!!!
Huo Yuan Jia...
It is not a very good movie, but I think it is not fair to say this movie is bad either.
It is based on a true story. If you know the background of the story, you'll appreciate more.
I am touched by the moral of the story - This is not just a fighting/ kung fu story. It is also about how to honour your family and your enemy.
i respect your emotions sanjiun!!!
also rate a movie along with giving your opinion!!
after all its all about sharing opinions!!!
Kung fu panda - 8/10

Sanjiun,
All the best in your PhD viva. (in UKM, right?)
You can always get RM10 DVD if you ever missed it from cinema. LOL
Regarding "Huo Yuan Jia" is definately a chinese's movie and not a hollywood blockbuster. It basically mention about the chinese culture, fight for their rights and honors during the "Dark ages" of China history.
Same goes to "Ip Man" which i rate 9/10 (from a chinese point of view). Good fighting actions is basically all I can say.
p/s: I'm Malaysian-Chinese Ancestral Descendant. Opinion might be bias. LOL

Talking about Ip Man...
I have a joke to tell. It was a Malay friend of mine. He loves this kind of fighting/ action movie.
But when the "Ip Man" started to show in cinema... he kinda blur~~
"What is kung fu fighting to do with Internet Protocol??? "
OMG... Ip-Man is the name of the hero, not Internet Protocol Man!!!!
LOL!!!
hi AK.. ya i saw the movie..
sad to say it was below "MY" expectations... if u ve seen day after tomorrow... you might find this ok ok (not cause tat is better but cuase its similar atleast in terms of special effects)..
special effects are amazing in some scenes and they are the saving grace too!!
my rating - 6/10
Just watched a 1966 film "The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming". It is really a nice one.
just saw a Mexican film called "Rudo y Cursi" featured by Gael Garcia and Diego Luna. it's about soccer and everything involved in it, e.g. fame, money, success and failure. rating 9/10
