Movies - Recommended (Nov/08/2009 )
Glad to see you finally saw Whale Rider- one of my favs. The movie options in Japan suck at the moment (esp. for me and non Japanese speaking brain). I think we can watch Resident Evil 4 in 3D or Frozen- thats my stunning choice currently. oh and Eat Pray Love- which doesn't really appeal to me either.
I might go and see 13 assassins- a good old Samurai movie (according to the reviews here), by Takashi Miike.
yeah really, Whale Rider is pretty good....I watched The Time Traveler's Wife this weekend...it's not so bad, if you like romantic stuff- everlasting timeless love and all that crap... and both Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana were a little bland but not that bad either...though they could have spiced it up a notch since the premise is quite good and has a lot of possibilities- time travelling i.e.....

I love the time travellers wife- the book, I didn't see the film yet- maybe I won't cause I like the book too much to be spoiled by the film- even though Eric Bana is another dishy man (again with the eyes!)

I haven't read the book so I can't say which parts were butchered ...but it's still worth to see it though- even just for the eye candies ...our eyes have got the same taste buds, Lost-san...
