then something will surely be lost in the translation....it would be dubbed or subtitled in Japanese?

-casandra-

They have both versions here, in 3D and not in 3D, its been recommended to see the 3D version

-LostintheLab-

yeah, I would also recommend 3D. Do they have 3D only in dubbed version?

-Nabi-

Nope, both versions apparently! so maybe I will see the scary 3D subtitles!

-LostintheLab-

watch the 3D for the all-senses "smorgasbord-iness".....but when you say it's subtitled- in japanese , right? Ok, that might be a bit distracting but it wouldn't matter so much in the end....

"Man from Earth"
The hero is immortalized and alive for last 14000 years. He has seen/witnessed most of the things that has happened on earth. I would rate it atleast 8/10.

Recently watched Avatar 3D. Great CGI.
8.5/10

Avatar: 8.9/10

Yeah, nice story to watch and worth the money... geezz I can't afford to watch the 3D version... almost 5x more than normal price.

Bodyguard Assassin: 7.8/10
Full action pack... although the story line is slightly nonsense to me.

Avatar 7.5/10

I saw it in 3D- the subtitles looked like they were also in 3D.
I loved the visuals, the story was a bit like Pocahuntas (the disney version) with Aliens

My 1st movie of 2010: The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus.
Oh dear... I hate it!!!
Rating? 3.5/10 (yeah... not even a PASS)

Wanted to watch Avatar or Sherlock Holmes. But couldn't get the ticket as all the sessions selling fast. Thought Dr Parnassus might be a good movie coz I thought Johnny Depp's movie can't go wrong. Moreover, there are Collin Ferrell, Heath Ledger, Christopher Plummer, Jude Law...
But after half an hour inside cinema, me and my boyfriend regret. We couldn't understand the movie and it was boring!!! 2-hr movie feels like forever... arghh!!!

Hi sanjiun,
Sorry to hear about the movie had ruin your date... I was thinking to watch the movie as well but since if both of you can't understand the movie, I think I should cancel my plan for that...

I was in tropicana city mall for the new year countdown with my girlfriend and subsequent watch our very first 2010 movie at 00.00 : Old Dogs
Rating: 6.5/10

Good laugh for the new year, although the story line is just so-so, short movie. Recommended to watch if anyone is too stressed in work and wish for a break.

P/s: I usually phone up GSC for pre-booking to avoid disappointment.
