We can discuss about the objective and subjective nature of "good and bad films". What do you think?
I think there is an objective thing that tells if the film is good or not: the acting, the script, the filmography..., and then there is a subjective part where you like or not. And then it depends on how much you know about cinema and how good is your taste that you can understand the objective part, and even put tugether objective and subjective. But of course there are people that know a lot about cinema and they have different opinions,different taste, but they can tell and elaborate why they prefer one movie over another...

So, what do you guys think?

I had that discussion sometimes with some friends that thought that to tell a good from a bad movie was completely subjective. And I always use the same example. Cinema is like wine. There is always good wine and bad wine, the thing is that maybe you like the bad one, or maybe you cannot Distinguish a good one from a bad one...

I LIKED INCEPTION...
although sumtimes u cant help feeling which de caprio movie u sseeing cause they all look or sound similar... but the concept is good.. and after a long time i saw a movie were there are no unanswered questions... atleast everything got answered by the end of the movie.... most of u will like it... not sure about nabi-san though!!!
but it is atleast worth a one timke watch!!!!

bad PI.......so shld we post more spoilers here? Did you like the Saharan dreamscape, PI....it was my second most favourite segment of the film....the heat, the glowing ergs, fiery dust devils and dancing sandstorms....Chris Nolan is a genius...

now waiting for twilight eclipse... dunno why thought.. cause the first one i liked normally dint love it!!! may be i m waiting so eagerly cause of the hype tat has been created!!!

Eclipse? I've already seen it....I'm for Team Jacob, the cute werewolf......it's actually one of the stupidest films I've ever seen but I like this werewolf.......

...ok, I also just watched one of Yimou Zhang's films Curse of the Golden Flower- (if you like chinese era films and Gong Li) ...pretty good...an eye feast, the gory fight scenes are spectacular- rivals Tarantino's in their surrealism and the story's not so bad too- betrayal, cruelty, revenge, fratricide...altho I liked more Raise The Red Lantern...this is a must see film....

yeah but the difficulty is to find chinese and japanese films here in india!!!!

U liked Inception? All questions answered? What was the question to begin with? the movie plot is like kids playing their fantasy games and trying to come up with their own explanation of things.

How would U explain the monkey running away with the key that everyone thought cat hid? And, the appearance of Nicolas cage from nowhere to explain everything? Ridiculous!!
