This year the Oscars made some sense!! good! The Hurt Locker!!! great! (It is a pity that Tarantino did not win anything...)

The only thing that I did not like...Sandra Bullock best actress?? Really??...Well, This year she won best actress for "The blind side", and worst actress in the razzies for "All about Steve"...al least the razzies were right!!

i second lq in "let the right one in" (i wonder what name it had in spain ) but i disagree with bb-san about "the men who stare at goats" since i enjoyed it a lot, probably because i was in a good mood and with good company

I haven't seen Blind Side yet so I can't say if Sandra Bullock deserved the Oscar or not, so Sir LyQ, which film actresse/s place high in your approval rating? I think Hilary Swank is pretty good esp in Milliondollar baby....

and tj likes almost everything...he gives very high marks each time- he'd be a very good professor

"A serious man" is a nice good movie. I enjoyed during the whole movie, but I have to watch it again beacuse at the end I felt like I miss something... you are right, they have better: Barton fink, Raising arizona, blood simple, Fargo, Miller´s crossing, O Brother Where Art Thou?, The Big Lebowski, No country for old men,....All of them great!!

Well, my pick of the day is "Children of men". Very good movie, 4.5/5 stars

Another question. What do you think about James bond, I mean about the "new" Bond, Daniel Craig? I think he is quite good for the role! I liked a lot Casino royale!
Which one is your favorite James Bond?? (mine is, of course, sir Sean Connery, and Daniel Craig....I hope nobody picks Timothy Dalton! )

PS: casandra, one actress I think is quite good is Julianne More...I like as well Emma Thompson, Diane Keaton, Naomi Watts, Cate Blanchett...and I love Rachel McAdams (my god what a smile!)
