These are both excellent movies- the wackiness is toned right down and Kate winslet is great in Eternal sunshine- I absolutely reccomend both these films.

-LostintheLab-

well, I like Kate Winslet so it's a good enough recommendation....so many movies to watch and so little time...

Reading the last few post, I no longer feel like I belong to this planet. Time to go back home.

-Nabi-

and where is home, btw? ;) BB-san...just go back home (to your tatami studio) and watch some movies recommended by us....but don't watch Happy Gilmore- that's the worst movie ever and it turned me off to playing golf forever...:P...cheer up, ok?

-casandra-

home is somewhere outside this blue planet. I can understand now why this planet looks blue.

i agree with LiL, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and the truman show are both great movies!

Agreed!! Esternal sunshine is really good and very original. The writer is one of the most insteresting writers right now in hollywood: Charlie Kaufman: writer of "being john malkovich" and "adaptation" among others!

And by the way, adam sandler is ok, but some of his movies are real crap, case in point Zohan!!!

Right now I´m waiting to see the next Scorcese film "Shutter Island", the next Christopher Nolan Film "Inception" and the film based on a comic named "kick Ass" :P

Jim Carey in Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and Truman show (2 of my favourite movies) any other Jim Carey- I'd rather stick blunt knitting needles in my eyes

what about "the majestic" and "the grinch"? (i particularly liked "the majestic")

as for adam sandler, "50 first dates" and "click" were okay.

Watched 'Lovely Bones' yesterday night.

It's not that bad though it's not some must-watch-movie. I enjoyed watching that :) though not a movie that I would recommend.

laurequillo, U should watch 'The men who stare at goat' to know what are bad movies. I survived that!
