I just watched Mystery men...ben stiller...it is not good, not so bad... I like "Tropic Thunder", Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. and even Tom Cruise were really funny
Now, Lets see Spirited Away!
"Spirited Away" I liked it! It is really wonderful I give it 3.5/5 stars. The directorīs imagination is great!
The accent- definately not Scottish...
I think it fell into the category of random generic english with a hint of northern- but as there are many different accents in northern England and it didn't sound like any of them maybe best described as "hollywood non- london english"
Still who cares that all the kings of persia were blond and blue-eyed, maybe they emmigrated from Norway....
Admire the glowy desert light and gentle banter of the main characters.
yup, I agree Lost-san, who cares indeed esp about the accents...next time they shld choose Canadian actors cos we don't have any accent except that Shrek guy....
@ Sir LyQ: perhaps you shld also try to see an older anime based on his own manga series: Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind..technically and artistically, not as good as Spirited or the Howling castle IMO..but the message is quite good...
Nausicca is brilliant- I really love the film, its possibly my favourite Ghibli film still.
If you can see Ponyo- I think you'll love it.

Though its weird for me to hear it in english

Yeah some northern accent...Well, I just watched 5 minutes, so I will tell you about the glowy deser once I found the guts to finish it!
I like the accents...It was funny how in "How to train your dragon" the father viking had an scottish accent (Gerarld Butler) and the son viking had and New York accent...

You dont have accent? Really?? I have some canadian friends and believe me, you have accent! What shrek guy?
Actually I care about accents (and I like accents), and it really impress me when actors can do good accents (or when they canīt do it)!!
accents are everywhere, even in spanish, e.g. gael garcia in "la mala educacion".
has any of you seen "four lions"? i've heard that the accents in that movie are almost unintelligible
