A newborn baby orangutan rests in the arms of its mother, Mona, at the Aalborg Zoo in western Denmark. It is the second orangutan baby born in the zoo in 10 years.

This is Belionota sumptuosa from Indonesia, a member of one of the most colourful and splendiferous beetle families the Buprestidae. I guess today also a popular merchandise at ebay etc and a pest anyway...
