Ok, the last one doesn't look so bad- because I can see the sauce (curry sauce?) about to cover the evil bogbeans. But the rest- bleurrgh and its not just the smell (similar to dead peoples socks IMO) its the texture-all sticky and slimy and yet crunchy
*shivers down my spine just thinking about it*

...evil bogbeans....we need some form of exorcism here...BB, my photo depicts how those beans usually look everyday, no matter what the weather is...
@ Casandra, my photo was from everyday lunch (count Wednesdays out - day for free Bento-kai)
...ok, ok...I was just teasing you...you defender of the evil natto....I thought you only eat it with plain rice for the full effect? Never had it in a noodle dish (soba?) like in your first pic.

U should try with it on Okonomiyaki then you will know why is natto good.. . for full effect, we don't even need rice. . just little dashi they provide with natto pack is good enough . . mix-mix-mix..and have the pleasure. . why do you need rice for that anyway... Natto in maki-jushi or Onigiri is good but I seriously think this picture of natto on a rice is not genuine . . U might need some nori to wrap and eat otherwise.
Ah ha I found this topic again, I thought I'd post a picture of lunch I had in Nagasaki. Champon noodles of delicious-ness
Now, I am getting hungry, LiL.
