The thing is: no matter how "old" I get, I still keep looking younger then I am.. a lot younger.
+ the fact that I still wear a normal tshirt and jeans to go to work (not some fancy costume or whatever) + I wear a simple backpack and not some briefcase. SO all this makes me look like some "kid" from school or whatever.

Today I arrived at the lab and there was this new "dude" at the door, I came in, he looked at me, kinda weird, it felt like he was saying: hey, you, what are you doing here, where is your ID ... anyway, I got in, jumped in the office of the big boss, he told me some stuff, got out, the new dude saw this and he believed I was some new student because he knew students were coming this week(and keep in mind: I have not been in the lab the last days before today)..Anyway got to the lab, started working as usual without my labcoat..

All of a sudden that new dude entered the lab, started looking at me and after a while he came to me and asked me if the students at this lab werent supposed to wear a labcoat, I replied: I guess so, and worked some more..
The "dude" kept looking at me... really weird and then he started making comments on my work: he asked me: didnt you learn standard techniques at school ? Did they tell you this? I was like: WTF dude... (didnt say anything raelly, just sat there, and worked).
Then he asked me: who is your supervisor? I replied: dunno, I suppose the big boss is..
Anyway, all of a sudden he left the lab and I noticed he bumped into a co worker at the door.. I moved closer to the door, to hear what he was going to say... And yes I was right: it was going to be funny as hell.
The "dude" asked my co worker: "who the hell is that guy in there? Thats a weird student" He just grapped samples from the fridge and started working with them , he took media and toothpicks(!) and he is doing something very weird... My co worker, moved her head in the lab and saw me sitting at the door, I blinked at her, she smilied and then she said, very dry and calm to the "dude": oh, thats your new boss...
Oh boy... I wished I could have seen that dudes his face Must have been priceless....

The funny thing is that he didnt dare to reenter the lab.. He had everything prepared to work and he didnt dare the enter.. I finished my work, got something to eat at lunch and then I noticed he got back in the lab to work when I wasnt there.. Haha so funny, I let him work and a few hours later, when he was still working, I got back in the lab and he didnt look at me, tried to look the other way etc..
SO funny.. And I couldnt let this occasion go by like that... I told, during lunch, 2 others what happened and we decided to make it even worse for the "dude".. I made them tell him that his new boss is crazy and very hard..
I even had one of my co workers come up to the dude and ask him: "hey have you met your boss allready?" "If you do, make sure not to make a mistake or look funny at him, because he will kick your ass big time, everyone is scared of him. He looks like a kid, but he is really crazy.." HAha the dude his face.. really priceless, I think.. And at the end of the day, another girl from another lab played ball too and we acted like I was bashing on her and she was crying (acting) and saying; yes boss, no boss, it will never happen again boss.. and some more crying... And then she ran off to the toilet.. Right in the face of the new dude (we were blocking the hall, and he didnt dare to ask to let him pass.. And then when the girl ran off , he looked at me and I looked at him with my mad face and said: "what, whats your problem dude"...
Really... I think he was almost ready to quit his job ...
Then the girl came back, laughed a bit, said "see you tommorow pito" and the dude really didnt understand it how all of a sudden we were back ok...
Finally someone explained him it was all a show and we were just playing with him because he believed I was a student...

Will be funny next days and weeks when I have to supervise him and teach him some stuff.
