abbreviations i can't understand - in this forum (Apr/12/2007 )
OMG - Oh My God !!!
(I just used in one thread so this here is justified)
what some of you mean by ' dom ' ??!!
Any more clue?
DOM?? Date of Manufacture
Where did you see them?
here is an example, Nabin:
- close all doors at night
- block up small holes in the walls
- leave NO food out for them (that includes rubbish in bags, dirty plates and especially cat food - a hungry cat might also do his job better)
- look up on the internet the various diseases you can get from rats and get colour pictures (even vegetarians can be trained)
it worked for me (dirty neighbours not veggy flatmates)
dom
Dom - Dominic
what a stupidity,
yes, dominic
ASAP: as soon as possible.
"what some of you mean by ' dom ' ??!! "
hmmmm
dom
hmmmm
dom
hahhaha
DOM - date of manufacture.
Add an 'O' to it and it is a miracle word in Japanese.
'Domo' - will mean thank you. But this is a single word that can make U polite when U speak in Japanese. 'Arigatou-gojaimashu' is thank you but add 'Domo' to it. 'Domo Arigatou-gojaimashu' . . that will be excellent. Or just put a little smile on your face, bow a little and say 'Domo' - you will win everyone's heart.
When I said I can't speak Japanese, my Prof said saying just 'Domo' will take care of many things and at the same time make everyone like U. Some one says any greeting Ohio-gojaimashu' (Good Morning), Konichiwa (Good Afternoon), Konnbanwa (Good Evening), Oyasuminasai (Good Night), O-tukareysama-desu (Good, keep it up). . . any Japanese greeting and U don't know how to reply . . . say the magic word - 'Domo'. U r already prepared for Japan.
So, Domo Dom
