ok, good choices... and sorry about your dad's and future dad-in-law's reactions...it's the unexpectedness which pissed them off...but it's your skin and your decision....and you're not twelve anymore.... so just give em time and they'd get used to your tattoos...and if worse comes to worst, there's always laser removal.......

it depends...if you want less formal and more debonair- then no tie....but perhaps it's better to wear one considering that you're gonna get tied in more ways than one anyways.......you've to see also what the other menfolk are gonna wear and if most of them are wearing ties, then you better wear one....
