In honour of PI's up-coming engagement and future wedding plans, we thought we start a dedicated thread to THE EVENT of the year.
Global warming..pffttt! Nuclear weapons....nothing! politcal turmoil....whatever!
Other celebrities stand aside for PI and his bride to be (BTB as no names are currently known).

Here we can plan our outfit choices- finally Nabisan can get the difference between a Kurta and a Kameez
The super fabulous Bollywood spectacular featuring Div and myself can be planned-
Preferred method of transport- camel or transporter beams (for those in Australia) can be worked out all in this very thread.
And perhaps a probing interview for PI and BTB worthy of HELLO :D

-LostintheLab-

I have not yet decided my choice of transportation yet. I was thinking of horses but then there must already be enough horses in India. This is going to be a traditional mallu (south indian) wedding.

We have yet to decide our costumes too. What is going to be for me?

something like this :

-Nabi-

Ah very nice Nabisan, is that an accurate representation of your looks? :D

I think Casandra and I are arriving by camel
hmmm what about this for me

-LostintheLab-

fortunately not. It needs some calculations. U have to subtract a lot of hair from head and face and instead add a lot of inches to my waist. Then, that will be me.

something between the above pic and this guy

I was just showing what I was going to wear.

U look wonderful. But, look around . . may be there are better. U gave up shalwar kameez?

-Nabi-

I"m waiting to see what suggestions can be put forth, plus this one said it was a south indian sari... I thought more in keeping
It you added a wig to the picture above you'd be getting close to my stature, I may need 2 saris sewn together :D
So no bearded man then- what about the sword?...nice outfit btw

-LostintheLab-

The place PI said he will have his wedding is famous for sarees. So, may be U need not take a saree with you but PI will be getting them for you. U just have to tell him the design and color. But, take some shalwar kameez for other events.

may be this is a kanchipuram saree. . google says so.

I cannot take a sword but thinking of taking a pipette with me.

yeah, the outfit is kinda cool. I only have to get the scarf. rest I already have.

-Nabi-

Nabi-san PI's is not a mallu wedding, its a Tamilian wedding............How about a different kind of saree LiL-san...........non-silk.............u don't hv to bother about getting traditional silk sarees since PI will be giving these sarees as gifts to all the lovely women here :P :D

chk this one out

saree for engagement too or just the wedding?

Any gifts for gentlemen?

-Nabi-

our own PI's wedding <blinks back tears> <sobs> <sighs>....nice, Lost-san...but may I propose, a change in the labels:

PI to BTB (broom-to-be)
BTB to SB (sleeping beauty) someone shld still whack her in the head to wake her up...

and yup, camel we will ride and for my wedding costume: a steel blue stylish lehenga...to show off the midriff...

and oops I found our perfect transport, Lost-san:

-casandra-

hey Casu-hime thats not lehenga, but a saree  or hv u been told that its a saree-lehenga fusion

anyway, this would be me on PI's wedding :P
