If I draw some thing in corel draw and convert into bitmap or some other file format then the image is distorted. The curves are not clear and its very bad. How to avoid the distotrion of the image by converting the corel image or how to use the image into publication with out loosing its original look.

if I am not mistaken Paint Shop Pro 7 supports the opening of .CDR files and saving to BMP. You could try this and download a free trail and see if this works.


But just to let you know how "difficult" coral draw is: check this website! Here you can convert almost every file except coral draw... just to give you an idea on how hard this program is.

If I remember right, with Coral Draw you create vector graphics (lines, polygons, etc based on equations, see the wikipedia article). If you convert them to bitmaps, i.e. a pixel-based graphic format, the result is maybe not good. You should try to export the graphic via a function in Corel with higher/highest resolution, or save it as vector-based graphics (*.cdr) and then use this file for publication. Or use another program as pito suggested.

Well I convert into PDF file through Publish pdf command and its like an origianl file and from PDF i can covert it into any other file file throught pdf to image converter, if I use high DPI like 1000 then quality is close to the original but in this case just file take little more space in the hard disk.
Is there any possibility to take the picture of desktop screen with some software rather then print screen command, becasue with print screen command you lose the quility of colors.
I shall be very thakful to you if you can tell me some software to take the picture of destop.

I use PDF creator to directly save a TIF image at the resolution I want. Its called PDF creator but saves TIf or any other file format and is freely available online.
