I don't really understand how it works though- does everyones playlists get played in the bioforum group?
Lost once again

Don't worry Lost, you're not the only one who's not yet found...and I've already grown roots over there but still haven't figured out how that thang works....so, may I graciously recommend MY playlist

Try Händel, at least some British tendencies

Yup, you couldn't blame him though

And oops..I forgot to throw in some Goethe and Brecht, M Benz and V Wagen...who else did I forget?

Kant? I can't remember if he was German, and what about some Wagner?
Thanks for all your advice- I put a pile of music on it yesterday (I think I accidently transferred my WMP music onto the radio list

Thanks for your choices- I had a little listen yesterday, It sounded good, Most of the bands I've never heard of....interesting styles.
Feel free to listen to my playlist- I have not only Bach (magnificat and a bunch of Oratorio's), But Handel, Mozart and Shostakovich and some Part (can't do the umlouts above his 'a"). Along with some others (there's a pile of Scottish folk in there too).
When I"m not on the microscope today I"ll have a listen

Hope to see some J-pop in the chart from now on
And, speaking of Germany and music - they made Beatles. Thx a lot !

Great.....I'll have a look at your playlist Lost and now I have to come up with a slogan just for you (aren't ya scared now?)

and yes, Kant is soo German and yes, I shldn't have forgotten the passion and intensity of Wagner....his music and leitmotifs, I mean...pretty scary and overwhelming

and BB, I used to like the German Beatles but they changed their beet...

'used to like' ?
Beatles is one reason I have less complaints living in this planet

@ Casandra: You should hear Janis Joplin's "Mercedes Benz"
@ lost: Umlaute as ä, ö, ü you can write as "ae, oe, ue" at least sometimes.
And good old Krautrock is not bad, and much better than Wagner, he really sucks

Yes. Wagner's music mostly a violent, loud and kitschy crap. And you need more steadiness than in every tea ceremony...
Rossini wrote: "Wagner has wonderful moments, and dreadful quarters of an hour".
And he was an anti-Semitic, that makes him wretched.
Better: Can, Tangerine Dream, Amon Düül, Ash Ra Tempel, Kraftwerk...and others.

Yup Wagner was a wacko.....with delusions of grandeur, he and Hitler were a pair....I bet he's Britney Spears' inspiration for her Womaniser song

Same as above with melody added . .

If somewhere misses the old statistics pie chart in last.fm (Musickum) that was apparently aborted,
here is an alternative .
For a result have a look on my profile page (hobglo-fm) via the bioforum group. Perhaps a little too colourful because i use random colour selection. One can do some more adjustments compared to the old stats.
