who thinks what? that it has to be overly complicated to be powerful? which "experimental" band is this?
A more or less new musical idea (free on youtube to watch) seem to be science songs, where scientists such as Hawking or Sagan talk about their topics which is then defamiliarised or alienated by digital means that is sounds like a song...not really my taste of music, but have a look and listen to it. One artist(?) doing this is John Boswell with his Symphony of Science.
