As to unusual gifties- my post is delayed, the most random so far is my ski lesson this weekend

ok--boudin noir (a fancy name to make it sound more haute cuisine and therefore more palatable ) and we have them here too....and for haggis, I'll take your word that it's a delight....and I thought that it was round brownies....

ski lesson is a good gift....a fancy helmet as well and with a cute instructor..? .....nordic or alpine?
