hi I would appreciate if any one working with connexins could advise me, iam working with skin cancer cells, the problem is iam not seeing my bands after incubating with primary and secondary antibodies while reprobing with GAPDH shows anice thick band, any suggestion

Hi Susan,

I am also working with connexins (43). The available antibodies are terrible. I have found some success with Zymed and Chemicon monoclonal antibodies, sometimes Santa Cruz polyclonals. Also, using the Pierce Fempto West reagent has helped somewhat.
