Temperature for protein expression - (Jun/03/2005 )

can anybody provide me some good paper or whatever about how to choose temperature in protein expresion. i knew lower temperature might help protein solubility, can anybody give me more details? thank u very much and forgive my silly question since i am a new one.

Start with 30C. If thats not good try lowering by 5C.

Are you trying to over-express your protein? Do you have aggregation problem? Are you expressing your protein in bacteria, yeast or mammalian cells? The approaches are entirely different! Give us more information!
