membrane and mitochondrial protein fractionation - (Apr/25/2005 )

[B]Hi everyone. i need a protocol for extracting cell membrane protein from mitochondrial proteins specifically inner mitochondrial protein... i suppose by fractionation. if there exist a kit it would be better. i will do western blot latter with the fractions.thank you very much.

There is several kits for this purpose offered in the market just ot name few that i am familiar with are Pierce, Active Motif, Sigma, and for fractionation Check Axis Shield (OptiPrep).
