How can you get rid of IgG bands on gels of Immunoprecipitated proteins.
and whats the best protocol to use for Ip to be good for mass spec.

I never did this experience, but I know that you can get rid of IgG bands on gels of Immunoprecipitated proteins. You have to eluted your protein from your antibody by using competitive peptide. The competitive peptide sequence should be the sequence that your antibody recognize on your protein.
