Protein Quantification: Laemmeli Buffer and nanodrop - Laemmeli Buffer and nanodrop (Dec/16/2008 )

Hello,
I am new to using the nanodrop and just want to do a quick protein estimation using the 280 nm program on nanodrop. Does anyone have a protocol ? My samples are in 2x laemmeli buffer with SDS, BME, and bromophenol blue. Will these chemicals hurt the nanodrop or provide grossly inaccurate measurements?

bromphenol blue will interfere with the readings.

without the bpb you could have blanked with the sample buffer mixed with laemmli buffer then read the sample.
