a gene instead an other.. - (Dec/02/2008 )

Good morning. I'm cloning a gene in a vector, all seems to be good but when I send to sequence I can't obtain the my expected gene but a different one.
It means that there are any contaminatios? How it can happen, for all my clones?!
please help me

Are you completely sure that your base material was good? I mean, can you say whitout a doubt that your gene is the one your thought it was?
