Two CMVmin in same plasmid? - (Sep/25/2008 )

Hello All,
I'm trying to determine whether engineering a plasmid containing two minimal CMV promoters is possible. I know prokaryotes do not like two origins of rep so I am a bit concerned that eucaryotes may not like this construct. In short, both minimal promoters will be downstream of a specific TF RE, one in control of a long half life protein and the other in control of a short half life protein.

we have a viral vector with 2 cmv promoters and 2 different proteins.

Is expression of both proteins approximately the same (quantitatively speaking)?
