19kda-15kda-6kda.. resolution of these proteins? - which gradient sds-page would be best suitable? thanks! (Sep/08/2008 )
hi alll.. i wish to resolve.. a 19kda protein from the degraded/fragemented forms of 15kda, 10kda and 6kda.. resulting from acid hydrolysis of this protein.. can you tell me
which gradient sds-page would be best suitable for resolution of these.. ? i need to separate them.. to be able to sequence them and find the site of cleavage. any suggestions? thanks!

How about Tris-Tricine Gels of 10-20%? you can buy them in a precast form, they should give you a good resolvance for small proteins. Have a look here. There are also precast 10-20% Tris-Glycin SDS-Gels.
