Cutting out EGFP gene from pEGFP-N1 - w/o using XbaI (Jul/19/2008 )

anyone who ever cut out EGFP gene without using XbaI at 3´ of pEGFP-N1 vector?

i pcr'd it up with primers tagged with my restriction enzymes of interest.....cheating i guess, but easier!
