Western blotting troubleshoot - (Jun/25/2008 )

Hey i just ran a western blot, the same way i always do but this time i had something funny happen after transfer (electroblotting). After a 45 min transfer to a pvdf memrbane (semidry) for 45 minutes with a current of 50 v i remove my membrane from the sandwhich and there are white spots all over and a yellow tint in some areas. Any ideas of what could cause this.

membrane dried out would be my guess, yellow patches could be overheating and white spots could be salt deposits.
