hi all,
how do i test if a protein is soluble or insoluble on a sds page gel?as any one a quick protocol?

Do you want to see if the protein is overexpressed as a soluble protein, as opposed to being in an inclusion body? If so, the simplest way is to lyse the cells, spin down hard, resuspend the pellet, then run the two fractions on a gel. In order to make the loadings comparable, resuspend the pellet in the same volume as the supernatant. Don't forget to add a lane of total lysate.
