Will lyophilized protein denature?????

Possibly, to a small degree. if you want to preserve your protein, consider adding a protectant such as sucrose or trehalose.

Lyophilisation (is that how you spell it 
) does not denature the protein, or at least has never denatured the proteins I have freeze-dried.
