selection of buffer for dialysis? - (Mar/28/2008 )

Can anyone please give suggestion for the selection of buffer for dialysis? I extract my protein in Tris HCl buffer (ph - 7.4) with PMSF as protease inhibitor and even for gel filtration i use the same buffer. Is it ideal to dialyse the protein with the same buffer and if so, what concentration???

dialyze against the same buffer at the same concentration that you will use in the following step.
