SDS-PAGE Mercaptoethanol or - (Mar/27/2008 )

I need to know that which one is better to use in loading dye Mercaptoethanol or DTT during SDS page.

Either of them is fine.

as spanishflower says, either is fine, but...

dtt is stronger than 2-me, there is less odor and you don't need to use as high a concentration. it is also more expensive than 2-me.

we use 2-me.
