Ab's production from recombinant proteins (2) - new idea (Dec/04/2007 )

Hello again.

I have new thought (idea) upon the information i got from u.

I am trying to produce poly Ab's. As i understood, when using danaturing protein i likely to

lose Ab's produce against the conformational epitops of the protein. So my thought is trying to combine

denaturing protein (after cleaning and dialysis) with small quantity of the protein in native form

(purified under native conditions).

I would like to get ur feedback please.

one more thing u shud be keeping in mind is, how IMMUNOGENIC ur proteins is? which determines the strength (affinity) of the product (Ab).

otherwise u r on the way to get good antibodies!!!!
