E.coli promoterless lacZ vector - (Sep/19/2007 )

Hi all,

I need to do some reporter assays in E.coli - something I've not done before. Can anyone recommend a good promoterless lacZ vector to use? I need to co-transfrom another plasmid into the e.coli host too - thsi plasmid will be pACYC184 and is compatible with pMB1 and colE1 derived plasmids so, my reporter plasmid need to be pMB1 or colE1 derived.

Any suggestions would be great!
