aPKC IP and activity assay - (Apr/12/2004 )
Hello, I need help with a PKC assay on skeletal muscle tissue. I am having problems with the assay because I am not able to detect activity. We are not using radicativity assays, we are trying to detect with non-radiactive methods. The activity assay works on positive controls, so I think that the problem is related with the IPs.
I would like to find some protocol related with this topic
Thanks

The PKC assays are one of the toughest to attempt using non-radioactive methods. However, you may wish to check the Calbiochem.com website- they have certain luminometric assays that can be adapted to PKC. It is tough business all around though because PKC results can be affected by just about anything. Good luck
