Western Blot for Higher molecular weight Proteins - (Jun/19/2007 )

Does anyone know Western Blot (Both electrophoresis and transfer) conditions for Higher molecular weight proteins like Titin, Nebulin, etc (3000 - 4000 kDa).

Thanks

we used for titin and other giant protein kinases SDS gradient gels ranging form 2-14%;
if you need full transfer, tank blotting is to prefer; if you have a good amounts of enriched proteins and need not total but a rapid tarnsfer, semi dry blotting should do
