Best co-immunoprecipitation tool to buy? - Where do you buy your beads from? (Jun/03/2007 )
I would like to do co-immunoprecipitation on bacterial cells. I saw that there are many products to choose from, like protein sepharose A from Amersham or protein-G from Sigma, Pierce also has some kits. Which one works the best for you and is simplest to use?

we use routinely their Multimacs; we have also good experience with Dynabeads, to find at www.invitrogen.com

Thanks, will look into it:)!
I've always been a Pierce fan. Their co-IP Kit is the simplest to use, because it's all their for you - even a discussion of control experiments, and it gives IPs without antibody heavy and light chain.

You should try Dynabeads Protein A and G from Invitrogen. We have tried several other methods (sepharose, Miltenyi, Millipore, Pierce) and Dynabeads are by far the best. The protocol is simple and really quick (30 min). Recovery is much better and the background is low.
KPL has good products too.
