loading control for mitochondrial protein - (Apr/05/2007 )

Hi All,
I would like to know if VDAC is possible for using as a loading control for mitochondrial protein when doing WB?
If not, which marker is used for control?
I have tried both tubulin and actin but the result was not too good~~
