His tag purification - competition with imidazole or histidine? (Mar/16/2007 )

Does anyone have experience with either imidazole or histidine in his tag purification?
Thinking of using a Invitrogen column, and nickel and then either imidazole or histidine..

well imidazole seems more used to me.

imidazole for native protein isnt it?

mostly imidazole. Ofcourse, you will have to optimise the imidazole conc.
