vortexing of antibodies upon dilution in 3% skim milk - (Jan/24/2007 )

dear all
I am a beginner in western blot. is it possible to vortex antibodies (primery &secondary) upon dilution in 3% skim milk ? or is it better to mix by pipetting up and down?

I just mix them by inverting. Vortexing is not neccessary and may harm them.

I vortex antibody sol. in milk, gently and briefly for 1-2 seconds.
