Expression of an N-terminally tagged golgi protein - (Jan/20/2007 )

Hi,

I am currently planning to express a golgi-localised protein with a 20 kDa tag in the N-terminal.

Is there a risk that the protein won´t even enter the ER since the signal peptide for entry in to the ER is now too far inside the protein?

I usually expres golgi protein with nterminal tag, i have not problem, but i dont understand your ask, which is your problem?
