Storage of buffers - (Jan/09/2007 )

What is the best way to store stacking buffer, running buffer and TBE. Currently we are keeping it at room temperature. Can it be stored at 4C.

buffer with SDS are not ok at cold because SDS precipitate
TBE keeped at cold temp should be used at cold temp or prewarmed.

We have running buffer and TBE in RT. My old lab used to store the stacking buffer in 4C.

Buffers with low concentration of SDS (such as 1xrunning buffer and 1xstacking/resolving buffer) is OK at 4degree, however, high concentration (such as 10xrunning buffer) precipitate at 4degree.
