Western Blot Feedback - (Dec/13/2006 )
I just got his blot yesterday for a 37 kda protein. Two questions:
Why am I getting multiple bands? I used a polyclonal antibody. Does it have something to do with it?
Why does the MW looks curved. I saw the gel ruuning curved. Is it the voltage or could be the wells got distorted when I removed the combs?

if each of your blots (from each well) shows as smilling face like this
. your voltage is too high. try low voltage.or.. if you are using pre-cast gel and entire blot looks uneven... well.. blame your pre-cast gel.. that happens sometimes.
